I wonder if my story may sound familiar to you?

 

My passion for ministry and deep desire to tell others of God’s love for them, granted me 25 years of non-profit work both domestically and internationally. I sat with brothers and sisters around the world as they told of God’s work in their lives and of His love for them. In the midst of this, I forgot about God’s love for me. I had a passport full of stamps, and a heart full of other peoples’ stories. I operated at full speed with no care for my own body or soul. I left Jesus behind. I found myself in a downward spiral. I was burned out, which fostered deep shame and an inability to deeply connect with God.

 

During this time, I began to meet with a Spiritual Director. Through our work, I began to experience great healing, freedom, and intimacy with God and continue that journey today.

 

God has helped me to rediscover His invitation to me as His beloved.

 

I knew I wanted to invite others into this journey and so I completed training through Soul Formations’ Academy of Spiritual Formation and Soul Formations’ School of Spiritual Direction. I now have the joy of offering Spiritual Direction out of my home studio (...from the Coop), outside of Salem, Oregon.
